Check your mailbox: Colorado ballots start going out Oct. 15 for Nov. election

DENVER – The November election is less than a month away and ballots are now arriving in mailboxes around Colorado.

Elections offices started mailing ballots on Monday, Oct. 15. The last day for ballots to go out is Friday, Oct. 19.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 6 and ballots must be received by 7 p.m. MT that day in order to be counted. Ballots mailed on or after Nov. 6 will not be counted, except those from military and overseas voters.

Coloradans can register to vote on any day up to and including Election Day but if you register after Oct. 29, you’ll have to visit your local elections office or polling place to pick up a ballot, as it will be too late to send one in the mail.
