DENVER – Colorado may be Coors country, but Budweiser is hoping to win over customers with a new series of bottles with the state name printed on them.
Colorado is one of 11 states that will have their names printed on bottles in place of the Budweiser logo this summer. Those states all have Budweiser breweries.
The bottles also will feature each state’s initials where the ‘AB’ monogram usually is and ‘King of Beers’ will be replaced with each state’s motto. In Colorado, that’s “Nothing without providence.”
Below the motto, the bottles bear each state’s nickname.
To accompany the custom bottles, each state’s brewery will host an open house, complete with the famous Budweiser Clydesdales. The Fort Collins Budweiser brewery’s open house is scheduled for July 22. Anyone who wishes to attend the open house will need to RSVP in advance and that can be done here.
The Colorado bottles will be available from July through the end of September.
