VAIL, Colo. – Ski access points in the Lionshead area of Vail were closed on Tuesday due to a death investigation.
Vail Fire said a body was discovered in Gore Creek Tuesday morning.
Further details on the investigation weren’t immediately available.
Officials recommend using the Vail Village, Golden Peak or Cascade Village ski access points while the Lionshead points are closed.
