Bicyclist rescued below High Grade Road in Jefferson County

High Grade Road reopens

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. - A rescue was completed Saturday morning on the High Grade Road in Jefferson County for a bicyclist who went over the side.

Rescuers reported the male bicyclist had fallen 200 to 300 yards down a cliff on the side of the High Grade Road, near Arnett Ranch Road at about 9:40 a.m.  The bicyclist was rescued shortly before 11:30 a.m., and had several broken bones.

The cyclist was not identified by authorities.
