Aurora Police seek man in connection to 2-alarm fire at hotel construction site

AURORA, Colo. – Police in Aurora are looking for a man in connection to a two-alarm fire that damaged a four-story hotel under construction.

Around 3:20 a.m. on June 19, crews responded to the fire at the construction site located at 255 North Blackhawk Street in Aurora.

The fire damaged the 139-room Marriott Courtyard hotel that is being built next to the new light rail line in Aurora.

Investigators have yet to release an official cause but say a man seen on RTD surveillance video riding a bike near the scene may be connected.
