AURORA, Colo. — The Aurora Police Department is looking for a missing 14-year-old who left her home Wednesday evening and hasn't returned.

Police did not provide a last name, but said Daphne, 14, left the home at the 2100 block of S. Richfield Way with a friend around 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Daphne is 4-foot-11-inches, 100 pounds, has a physical disability that causes her to walk with a limp and wears a hearing aid.

Police said Daphne does not have a history of running away and they are becoming increasingly concerned.

At 5:15 p.m. Thursday, the Aurora Police Department said they believe she's with a young man, who's approximately 14 years old with short blonde hair. He is 6 feet tall, skinny, and was last seen in a gray jacket, white pants and red shoes, police said.

Anyone who sees Daphne or the male should call 911.
