Aurora police investigating 'suspicious death' in High Point neighborhood

AURORA, Colo. — Police in Aurora are investigating a suspicious death after they found a woman's body in a home in the High Point neighborhood.

On Tuesday shortly after noon, officers with the Aurora Police Department were dispatched to the 19000 block of E. Milan Circle on a missing persons report. When they arrived at the residence, they found a woman's body, police said. It was not clear how long she had been dead.

Police are investigating her death, which they call "suspicious," but did not elaborate. On Wednesday morning, police said they did not have an update to share on the "complicated and complex case."

Police said there is no threat to the public.
