Aurora man goes missing in southern Colorado, state's Bureau of Investigation involved in search

PUEBLO, Colo. – The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is getting involved in the search for an Aurora man who went missing in southern Colorado earlier this month.

Wilbert Archuleta, 39, was reported missing Aug. 14 - four days after he arrived in the San Luis Valley to visit his father.

CBI officials said he was expected to be back in the Denver metro area on Aug. 18, but he never returned.

His last known contact with family was on Aug. 14.

Archuleta is a 5-foot-10 Hispanic man who weighs 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes and a goatee-like beard. He has a tattoo on his back and a scar on his neck.
