AURORA, Colo. -- An Aurora man convicted of sexually assaulting two girls was sentenced Monday to 60 years to life in prison.
Arapahoe District Court Judge John Scipione sentenced Jeremy Hasani Scott, 44, after a jury found him guilty in February of all counts related to the assaults on the two girls.
The victims were two young daughters of women with whom Scott had a relationship with.
Scott began assaulting the first girl when she was 9 years old, in 2008. That abuse occurred until she was 12 years old. Scott began assaulting the second girl in 2019, when she was 10 years old, according to a release from the Office of the District Attorney, 18th Judicial District.
The victims were in the courtroom during sentencing.
