LASALLE -- Residents just south of Greeley have some unexpected cleanup duty after a severe storm on Tuesday afternoon.
"I was like, 'Oh good we're going to get a little bit of a rain,' I looked towards the neighbors and within a few seconds it was solid white and all hell broke loose," said LaSalle resident Pat Osiecki.
Winds of at least 60 miles per hour did some damage to his home and property.
"I said it sounds just like a tornado just went by the house and I think what I heard was the shed leaving where it was and ending up where it ended up," said Osiecki.
He showed Denver7 where his shed used to stand, compared to where it was about 80 feet away through his backyard in a cornfield.
"There was a big red and white shed setting here and that's where it ended up," said Osiecki. "It's rolled, I can tell that from looking at the shed. It's rolled a couple of times."
He also had damaged shingles, a busted front screen door, broken tree limbs and a pummeled garden.
Off the rural county road about 10 miles south west of Greeley, other properties were clearly damaged. Osiecki's neighbor up the street had a partially collapsed side fence.
Some of the road and many of the yards were still flooded as of Tuesday night.
"The water was running down the road and we had a river running in front of the house, down the road, and all of this behind the house," said Osiecki. "We were on an island in the middle of the river."
