CENTENNIAL, Colo. — The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man involved in an armed robbery at a gas station on Thanksgiving.

The office said a man walked into the Conoco gas station on E. Arapahoe Rd. near S. Havana St. in Centennial at approximately 4:30 p.m. and pointed a gun at the clerk. The clerk gave the robber the cash drawer. The robber then fired a single round into the ceiling before leaving and heading southbound.

No one was injured during the incident.

The Sheriff's Office said they're investigating whether the robber could be the same person accused of shooting and killing the clerk at another gas station during a robbery around 6:45 p.m. Thursday less than five miles away. They have not made a determination at this time.

Monday, the Arapahoe County Coronor's Office identified the convenience store clerk from the deadly robbery as Mauricio Omar Perez, 24, and determined he died from a gunshot wound.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office tip line at (720) 874-8477.
