UPDATE: The missing girl was found safe, according to the Pueblo Police Department. The man suspected of taking the 3-year-old, Ricky Trujillo, was also located but in a separate location.

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. -- Colorado authorities issued an Amber Alert Saturday for 3-year-old Savannah Camele, who was taken by 50-year-old Ricky Trujillo in El Paso County.

Police say Savannah was in the company of her grandmother and Trujillo inside an SUV in Hanover when Trujillo assaulted the child and pushed the grandmother out of the vehicle and fled.

The 2006 white Ford Explorer has a broken-out rear window with plastic and black tape covering it. The SUV has flat black rims with spikes on them.

The vehicle was last seen heading north from the intersection of Hanover and Olde Pueblo.

Trujillo is believed to be armed with a hunting knife. He is described as a 5' 7" tall Hispanic male.

A photo of the missing child was not provided.

Call 911 if seen.
