LONE TREE, Colo. - Amazon is bringing its physical book store brand to Colorado.

The company announced on Thursday that it plans to open an Amazon Books store at Park Meadows mall in Lone Tree.

The company wouldn't provide any further details, including an opening date, but Amazon Books PR Manager Alexandra Woodworth said the store is in the process of hiring store managers and associates.

This will be the first Amazon Books store in Colorado.

The company currently has stores in California, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Texas and Washington.

In addition to books, Amazon Books stores sell Amazon devices like Kindle and Echo.
