Independence Day

Park Hill 4th of July Parade

What: Come to the fifth annual Park Hill 4th of July Parade. The parade route goes from 23rd Ave. between Dexter St. and Krameria St. in northeast Denver. The Independence Day parade features marching bands, floats, classic cars and much more. The parade also ends with a street fair featuring food, music and children's activities.

Where: 23rd Ave. and Dexter St., Denver

When: Friday: Parade starts at 1:30 p.m.

4th of July Spectacular

What: Celebrate Independence Day with a fireworks show that lights up the Aurora skyline. The city’s Municipal Center Great Lawn will feature live music, delicious food beginning at 6 p.m. and ends with a fireworks display revered as one of the best in Colorado.

Arvada Independence Day Celebration

What: Celebrate Independence Day in Arvada mingling with neighbors and friends. The City of Arvada, Apex Park & Recreation District, Arvada Festivals Commission and KOOL105 provide free entertainment and a variety of food will be available for purchase. Fireworks cap off the evening, but don’t miss the incredible fun during daylight hours.

Great American Picnic

What: The celebration begins at 5:00 p.m. with a bike parade, pony rides, free concerts, and fireworks display at dusk. Bring your picnic dinner or enjoy a dinner from our vendors at the park.

Boulder’s Summer Reggae Festival

What: Join Millennium Harvest House for Boulder’s Summer Reggae Festival. Enjoy all day non-stop reggae music in the gardens. The featured bands include the Healing Force Band, Judge Roughneck, A MAC DZ, Irie Still, and Jus Goodie. Doors open at noon and show starts at 1 p.m.

What: The Cherry Creek Arts Festival is a weekend event that features 250 exhibiting visual artists, as well as culinary and performing arts.

Vegfest Colorado

What: VegFest Colorado is a two-day health and environmental fair supporting a vegan lifestyle. This event features renowned speakers who speak on health, diet, compassion, and environmental issues. VegFest Colorado also features expert chefs who demonstrates how to prepare delicious healthful plant-based/vegan dishes. Additional activities include food sampling, restaurants, commercial & non-profit exhibitors, fun for the kids and more.
