We’re learning more details into the events surrounding the death of a 7-year-old boy. A probable cause statement obtained by Denver7 Monday evening revealed what the 16-year-old suspect told police during questioning. More information related to the case, including the possible ID of the teenage suspect, is expected to be released Tuesday.
2. Massive bridge collapse in Italy
Authorities say the bridge, which stretched over several roads, railway tracks and the Polcevera river, collapsed around noon, or 4 a.m. MT. This is a developing story.
3. Are your pets up to date on their rabies shots?
If you live in Aspen, you need to know about these brand new water restrictions. It's the first time in history the city has had a stage 2 water shortage. Violators will be charged $500 for each offense, and could have their water disconnected.
5. Cooler Tuesday
For Tuesday and Wednesday, highs be cooler, in the 80s with some scattered afternoon storms. The storms are not expected to be severe as warm upper level temperatures will lower the threat for hail. The storms will produce brief heavy rainfall and plenty of lightning.
