Denver Police have arrested a man accused of shooting two people, killing one, outside a Denver apartment complex.

It happened on East Albrook Drive, near Peoria Street, the Denver Police Department tweeted around midnight on Wednesday.

A man and a juvenile female were taken to the hospital. Twelve hours later, police said the man had died at the hospital. They did not release any information about the girl's condition or age.

Police said Jessie Lee Oliver, 32, has been arrested on investigation of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder/extreme indifference. He is being held without bond in the Downtown Detention Center.

Oliver was arrested in Denver in 2011 on seven felony counts involving child prostitution, including trafficking children, pandering a child and pimping of a child. He was also charged with pandering-induce by menacing.

Oliver pleaded guilty to one count of felony pimping and the district attorney dismissed the other charges. Court records show he was given a suspended sentenced of six years in state prison and credit for serving 86 days in jail. He was ordered to serve four years of probation.

He has a seven-page criminal record in Colorado, including past arrests for weapons possession by a previous offender, drug possession, child abuse, domestic violence, assault and vehicular eluding.
