Two people have been rushed to the hospital after an early-morning house fire in Broomfield. The house is on Lipan Street, near West 152nd Avenue.
Flames could be seen coming from the roof of the home at 5:50 a.m.
North Metro Fire crews initially said they were searching for a third person they believed might have been in the home but that person was later found at a different location.

Shortly after rescuing a person in the second floor, crews were forced to evacuate the home due to heavy smoke and fire conditions and high risk of the roof collapsing. Firefighters eventually went back inside to extinguish hot spots.
