VAIL, Colo. – Eastbound traffic on Interstate 70 on Vail Pass came to a halt Thursday evening following a collision involving two semis.

The collision caused the two semis to jackknife, prompting the Colorado Department of Transportation to close the lanes at mile marker 183 just after 6 p.m.

Traffic cameras showed paramedics arrive on scene, but it’s not clear if anyone was injured.

There is no estimated time on when the interstate will reopen.
