DENVER – A car crashed through two fences and into the kitchen of a home near Ruby Hill early Monday morning, injuring the two people inside the vehicle.

The crash happened around 1:45 a.m. Monday at a home in the 1300 block of South Raritan Street, north of Ruby Hill.

Police said the vehicle was traveling nearly 100 miles per hour when it hit a curb, ran through a fence and backyard, over a retaining wall, through another fence and into the home’s kitchen.

Two people who were inside the home were not hurt, police said. But two people inside the vehicle were hospitalized with injuries.

The neighbor whose fences were crashes through said she thought she heard an "explosion" when the crash happened, and looked outside to see her fences in pieces and the car that had crashed into her neighbor's home.

Police said Monday morning they were determining whether the driver of the vehicle could face possible charges and said the cause of the crash was under investigation.
