GREELEY, Colo. — A 19-year-old Greeley man with "Murder" tattooed on his forehead has been sentenced to more than three decades behind bars for fatally shooting a man in 2018.

Leonardo Biorato of Greeley was sentenced to 32 years in prison, plus mandatory parole, in December 2019, according to the 19th District Attorney's Office.

He pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree murder in the month prior.

Biorato was accused of shooting and killing 46-year-old Edward Joseph Boyle Jr. of Greeley in July 2018 at the Village Green Apartments in Greeley. Two witnesses told police they had been sitting in a car outside the apartment when they heard two men yelling, according to the district attorney's office. Then, they heard a gunshot.

After several months of investigation, authorities arrested Biorato in December 2018 in connection to the murder.
