THORNTON, Colo. — A 13-year-old Shadow Ridge Middle School student is in police custody after a bomb threat prompted the school to be evacuated on Monday.
Thornton police said the teen was being held for investigation of interference with staff, faculty or students of educational institutions.
Police said at about noon that the school was being evacuated due to a bomb threat. Police later said officers found bottles of clear liquid that they determined to be ethanol alcohol.
