DENVER — Around 7 p.m. Thursday, Denver police said they were investigating a shooting involving at least one injured person injured and one suspect.
Preliminary information showed that there was some sort of altercation around 38th Avenue and Brighton Boulevard between the suspect and person injured just before the shooting, police said. The injured person was in critical condition as of Thursday evening, police said.
Police searched the area for a suspect. As of 11:30 a.m. Friday, they didn't have anybody in custody.
The intersection was closed in all directions after the shooting as police investigated. It reopened around 9:50 p.m.
