DENVER – A man is in the hospital after being shot in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood early Wednesday.
Denver police responded to the area of 31st Avenue and Marion Street around 2:30 a.m. after receiving a call of shots fired. Responding officers found an adult male who had been shot.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting weren’t clear and police did not provide a description of a suspect.
Police closed 31st Avenue between Marion and Downing streets while they investigated the shooting.
