MORRISON, Colo. — A section of the road that runs between CO 470 and Red Rocks Amphitheatre closed Friday morning for a single-vehicle fatal crash.
Master Trooper Gary Cutler with Colorado State Patrol said a pickup truck crashed and rolled on State Highway 93, also known as Hog Back Road. The pickup came to rest upside down around 4:15 a.m.
Crews are working to extricate the person who died in the crash, Cutler said.
Hog Back Road is shut down between Dinosaur Ridge Lot and Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
