DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. — One person died in a crash on Bayou Gulch Road in Douglas County Thursday afternoon.
Deputy Cocha Heyden with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office they received a call about the crash around 3:30 p.m. She said one person was ejected from the car and had died at the scene.
Bayou Gulch Road was closed between Hopsage Circle and Fox Sparrow Road as authorities investigated. It reopened around 7:20 p.m.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
