FIRESTONE, Colo. – At least one person was killed when an airport shuttle van rolled over on Interstate 25 north of Denver Tuesday morning.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at about 8:30 a.m. near the interchange with Highway 119 near Firestone.
Colorado State Patrol said one person was confirmed dead and several other people were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The van was operated by Estes Park Shuttle. It wasn’t immediately clear how many people were on board.
Officials said a detour is in place and traffic is getting around the crash but drivers should expect some intermittent lane closures and delays.
