BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. -- One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler on Colo. 128 in Boulder County Wednesday afternoon.

The fiery crash shut down the highway in the southeast part of the county between Colo. 93 and McCaslin Road, the Boulder County Sheriff’s tweeted.

Areal footage from AIRTRACKER 7 showed a heavily-damaged jeep next to the burnt-out tractor trailer. The truck’s cab appeared to have sustained extensive damage as well.

It’s not known which vehicle the fatal victim was in. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

No other details were immediately available.
