1 dead, 3 critically injured in 2-vehicle crash in Englewood

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – One person was killed, and three people were critically injured in a two-vehicle crash in Englewood Monday afternoon.

Police were called around 1 p.m. and rushed to the intersection of South Tejon Street and West Evans Avenue.

Police say the crashed happened when two vehicles, a Ford Mustang southbound on Tejon and a Chevy Tahoe eastbound on Evens, entered the intersection at the same time.

Paramedics pronounced the male driver of the Mustang dead at the scene. Three other people in the Ford were transported to the hospital with critical injuries. The driver of the Tahoe suffered unknown injuries.

Police have not released any other details in the investigation.
