DENVER – A woman died and another person was taken to a hospital after a three-vehicle crash Thursday at the intersection of 1st Ave. and Colorado Blvd., police said.
The crash happened around noon, Denver police said. The department initially said the person who was transported had serious injuries but later corrected themselves and said the person did not. The woman who died in the crash has not been identified.
Southbound lanes of Colorado Blvd. were closed just after noon, as were two northbound lanes. Police said road closures were still in place around 2:45 p.m. Click here for the latest traffic conditions.
