UPDATE on Friday, Oct. 25 at 5:33 p.m: Wheat Ridge Police say Krystin Loera has been found safe and is in contact with family.
WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — The family of a Wheat Ridge mother is pleading for the public’s help finding her.
Krystin Loera, 28, was last seen near 6th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard in Lakewood on Oct. 18.
Krystin's mother, Linda Loera, said her daughter spent the night at a friend's house and texted her the next morning around 10 a.m., saying she was on her way home. Krystin told her mother she was taking the bus at W. Colfax Avenue and Kipling Street.
“I kept on texting her ‘Answer me, Krystin, I could go meet you,’” Linda said. “She always calls me.”
Eventually, Krystin's phone died. She has not been active on social media and has not been seen since.
Linda said it is out of character for Krystin to be away from her two daughters.
“I didn’t hear anything and it was odd because we had our weekend planned to do movies and Halloween things with the girls,” Linda said.
Krystin is 5 feet, 4 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. She has visible tattoos on her right chest, hands, right back calf and both arms. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a purple Victoria Secret sweater and silver converse shoes.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Wheat Ridge Police Department at (303) 237-2220.
