PARKER, Colo. – A public vigil will be held Saturday in Parker for a mother and her two sons, whose bodies were found inside a parked van in a Lone Tree parking lot this week.

The vigil will be held at O'Brien Park, 10795 Victorian Drive in Parker at 2 p.m.

Josh Laber, brother of Jennifer Laber, will address the gathering as will a family religious leader, according to a statement from the family.

The bodies were found Wednesday morning, after Jennifer and the two children were reported missing the previous night.

The Douglas County Coroner's Office conducted autopsies on all three Thursday morning, and determined Jennifer died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The coroner found Adam and Ethan, her two sons, died from single gunshot wounds. The coroner and police spokesman, however, stopped short of calling the incident a murder-suicide.

Jennifer legally bought a Glock 9mm around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday and picked her sons, aged 5 and 3, up from school about an hour later, according to officials.
