Parker Police are issuing a warning after a suspicious incident at a bus stop Friday.

Police said a boy reported that he was waiting for the bus at his stop at Jola Park on Clarke Farms Drive when three men pulled up in a truck and got out.

"The juvenile became nervous and walked away," the press release states. "He turned around and noted that one male followed him and had picked up the pace."

The boy reported that the three men then got back in the truck, revved the engine and drove toward Jordan Road.

Police said this happened at around 6:45 a.m. and was brought to investigators' attention later in the day by a counselor at Sierra Middle School.

Students said usually there are a few dozen kids who use that bus stop.

"I think it’s a little bit scary," said Sierra eighth grader Matthew McCarthy. "Especially that I was walking up to the bus stop at the time that this happened. That I was probably arriving, maybe as the three guys left."

McCarthy said he's always considered the bus stop safe with so many students around as well as people walking their dogs and leaving for work.

"I think on Monday when I walk out the door, I think I'll probably keep a look behind me and look around a little bit," he said. "I think I'll be more alert to something happening or a car that looks suspicious coming down the road. I think my mindset will be a little bit different."

The truck is described as an older model truck, possibly a 2003-2005 with four doors and an open bed. It was dirty and muddy and may be silver on the lower half. The windows were tinted and there may be a dent on the passenger side, just above the rear tire. The passenger side mirror was missing. The truck was described as having a symbol on the rear gate of the bed which may look like, “>>.“

The first male is described as white, 5-feet, 9-inches to 5-feet, 11-inches tall, weighing approximately 175 – 200 pounds, with a medium build and "a fat stomach." He is between 37 – 42 years-old, has short black hair, scruffy facial hair and more than average hair on his arms. He was wearing a brown baseball hat, black sunglasses, a grey long-sleeved t-shirt and loose fitting blue jeans.

The second male is described as measuring between 5-feet, 10-inches to 6-feet, 2-inches tall, weighing approximately 120-150 pounds, and estimated to be somewhere between 35-39 years-old. He had shaved dark brown hair, no facial hair and gold hoop earrings. He was wearing a short-sleeved red shirt and a leather belt with a square black metal buckle.

The third male is described as measuring between 5-feet, 8-inches to 5-feet, 10-inches, weighing approximately 180 to 200 pounds, and is believed to be between 52 to 56 years-old. He has short brown hair and brown eyes.  He walked hunched over and was wearing black jeans and a long-sleeved black jacket.

Parker Police is asking for your help to identify these suspects. If you were in the area of Jola Park Friday between 6:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. and think you may have information that will help investigators identify these individuals, call the Parker Police Department at (303) 841-9800.
