2 in serious condition after suspected DUI crash in Northglenn overnight

NORTHGLENN, Colo. --  Alcohol may be to blame after two people were injured in a crash on Interstate 25 at 104th Avenue in Northglenn overnight, police said.   

The crash between a small sports car and a semi-tractor trailer happened at around 4 a.m. Sunday, the Northglenn Police Department said.  

Three people inside the sports cars were taken to area hospitals. Two of those drivers were listed in serious condition, an official with Northglenn PD added. 

The southbound lanes of Interstate 25 were closed at 104th Avenue for about six hours due to a crash. The Interstate reopened around 9:40 a.m.
