NORTHGLENN, Colo. -- One driver was killed in a rollover crash on northbound Interstate 25 Tuesday morning.
The crash near 104th happened at about 6 a.m.
"Witnesses reported a pickup truck was traveling at a high rate of speed and struck another pickup truck from behind," Northglenn police said in a statement sent to Denver7. "The driver and only occupant of the vehicle reportedly driving at a high rate was pronounced dead at the scene."
The driver and a passenger in the second pickup truck did not report any serious injuries, police said.
Both vehicles were traveling in the HOV lane.
NB I-25 was closed at 104th for nearly three hours. The highway started reopening just before 9 a.m.
