LAKEWOOD, Colo. – Lakewood High School went on lockdown Friday afternoon due to police activity in the area.

Police officers were performing a search in Holbrook Park, which is about four blocks east of Lakewood High just before 4 o’clock, after getting reports of shots fired in the area.

Any students who were still on campus at the time were moved inside the building, a Lakewood PD official said on Twitter.

The situation was resolved at around 5 p.m. No other information was immediately available.
