DENVER – One person died in a crash involving a car and motorcycle in southern Lakewood Monday evening.
The crash happened near the intersection of S. Sheridan Blvd. and W. Vasser Ave. around 8:15 p.m.
S. Sheridan was closed between W. Warren Ave. and W. Yale Ave. while police investigated the crash. The Lakewood Police Department said there was no estimated time that the road would reopen.
Police have not provided further details on the crash at this time, but said that the motorcyclist was the person killed in the crash.
Denver police are now handling the crash.
