GREELEY, Colo. -- Did you feel it? A 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck east of Greeley Sunday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The earthquake hit at 9:57 a.m., more than half-a-mile north-northwest of Kersey, Colo. The temblor had a depth of three miles, the USGS reports.
No damages from the quake have been reported, but at least 36 people in Greeley reported feeling the earthquake. The quake was also felt by people in Evans, Eaton, Johnstown and Louisville.
This most recent earthquake comes just a month and four days after a 2.4 magnitude quake was reported 14 miles southwest of Evergreen and was recorded by the United States Geological Survey in Golden at 4:20 a.m.
The movement created by that quake produced a sound wave with it, creating noise that many people could have heard, a USGS geologist told Denver7 last month.
