ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Zack Loffert has spent the last five years dressing up as Batman, going around to hospitals cheering up sick children. He is also in the process of raising money for an all-inclusive superhero themed playground which will be located in Denver's Schafer Park.

"Seeing the kids light up, man. When they run up to Batman, they’re happy, they don’t care what’s going on, they don’t care why they are there, they just want to hang out with Batman," Loffert said.

When the mask comes off, Loffert is the owner of 'Rodz and Bodz', an automotive business offering photo shoots with classic and iconic cars.

Both his business and his passions have taken a backseat over the last couple of days because over the weekend, someone threw a brick at his businesses window, cracking it. Loffert said its going to cost him as much as $2,500 to fix, which may not happen for a couple of more days.

Had that brick gone all the way through, it would have landed on a Ghostbusters-themed car, actually used in the 2016 movie reboot.

"There’s actually still glass pieces on the hood. It could have ruined the movie car and it’s a lot more money than a $2,500 window," Loffert said looking down at the hood of the vehicle.

The suspected vandals were caught on surveillance cameras walking toward the window and a short time later running from the scene.

Loffert right away put the video up on his Facebook page.

"It got shared and they are getting tips in left and right, Englewood police is," he said.

With Facebook's help, Loffer was able to find one of the vandals. Offering to not press charges to all parties involved if the window was paid for. The teen refused and wouldn't give up his friends.

Now Loffert says he feels, "kind of embarrassed and stupid because I wanted to give them a chance after the fact."

He plans on pressing charges and is hopeful the others will be caught.

As for his business and the charity he's dedicated his life to, he calls the last couple of days only a setback.

"I’m not going to let that slow us down," Loffert explained.

The Englewood Police Department say they are investigating the case.
