DENVER – Adam Gilbertson, a Minnesota native living in Denver, has seemingly disappeared without a trace.

In a statement sent to Denver7 Monday, Denver Police Department officials said that while the investigation into his disappearance is still ongoing, "there is no evidence of foul play, at this time."

The registered nurse didn't show up for work on Friday morning, which forced his employers to call his emergency contact. The person who was notified was his sister, Amy.

She and several family members flew from Minnesota to Denver this past weekend to help search for Gilbertson. He was last seen early Friday morning at a Denver bar.

Since arriving, his family visited several bars close to Gilbertson’s South Logan Street home and found footage of him leaving Syntax Physic Opera Bar on South Broadway.

“He leaves at 12:53a.m. and walks out the door,” his cousin, Shannon Saesan, told Denver7.

This would put Gilbertson about a quarter-mile from his apartment. However, the family’s investigation stops there.

“We're kind of at a standstill right now. We're trying to figure out just where to put the pieces together-- where he might have went,” his dad, Doug, said.

“It's been just super frantic. From one thing to another. Hardly anyone's sleeping. We're just trying to find out more information all the time,” his cousin, Saesan said.

The group said they plan to wait for better direction before organizing a community search for Gilbertson.

A Minnesota native, Gilbertson was described as being 5-foot-11-inches tall, weighing between 160 to 170 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Gilbertson's family told Denver7 he went to nursing school in Wyoming while he lived in Fort Collins. He graduated from the program last spring and moved to Denver for a nursing job back in August.

No one has heard from Gilbertson in four days.

“It's really, seemingly, a mystery,” Saesen added.

On Sunday, the family initially relied on surveillance video which showed Gilbertson leaving Charlie's Nightclub on East Colfax Avenue late Thursday night.

According to the timestamp on the surveillance video, Gilbertson got into a Lyft about eight minutes later.

His family told Denver7 they spoke with the Lyft driver, who told them that Gilbertson said he "had a bad night, and had been harassed at the bar."

The driver told Gilbertson’s family he took Adam to his car, which was parked in a Ballpark neighborhood lot.

“That car somehow got from the parking lot to his house. He's not there, the door's unlocked -- keys on the counter,” Saesan described.

Gilbertson’s family members have set up a website with Adam’s immediate information, hoping someone can reach out in case they know his whereabouts.

If you have information, contact Denver Police at (720) 913-2000, and tell them you're calling about case number 17-837-972. A new tip-line has also been set up by the family.
