DENVER -- After a scare, police announced Wednesday no device had been found in Denver's Hamilton Middle School.
Police responded Wednesday afternoon to the school, which is situated between Tamarac and Syracuse on the 8600-block of East Dartmouth.
Denver Public Schools representatives told Denver7 classrooms nearby the reported "device" have been evacuated. Those representatives said they can't say how many students or classes were evacuated, but they did say all the students are safe.
Denver police made the all-clear announcement after bringing a bomb-sniffing dog to the scene.
School officials are communicating with parents now.
