DENVER – Prepare to arrive earlier than usual if you're planning to take the A-Line to get to Denver International Airport on Sunday, as the commuter rail is experiencing 15-25 minutes delays due switch issues caused by the cold weather.

Service is shut down between the 61st and Pena Station and Denver International Airport, an RTD official said at 5:45 am. Bus shuttles will run between these two stations, the official said in a press release.

Train service will continue between Denver Union Station and 61st and Pena Station.

Other routes have not been affected.

"At this time crews are on location and repairs have begun. Due to sub-zero temperatures, repairs will likely last into the evening," an RTD official said in an updated statement.
