Man fatally shot at Aurora hotel, police say

AURORA, Colo. — A man was fatally shot at a hotel in Aurora on Monday night, police said.

Officers responded shortly before 10 p.m. to the InTown Suites in the 2000 block of South Havana Street, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to a hospital in critical condition and died Tuesday morning, police said.

Police were still investigating the shooting later Tuesday afternoon, and the victim's name hadn't been released.
