AURORA, Colo. -- A deadly fire in Aurora is being blamed on an electrical malfunction.

The fire started at a home on East 7th Avenue, near Del Mar Elmwood Park, on Wednesday morning, then spread to two other homes and several vehicles.

Firefighters said one person died and four people were injured in the fire. One of the victims was in critical condition at last report.

Late Friday, a neighbor of the family of the woman who died in the fire created a GoFundMe account to help them with expenses. In the post, she said one of the victims who was in critical condition may soon pass away.

Aurora Fire Rescue investigators ruled the fire an accident.
