A fire department in Aurora is inviting Pokemon Go players to visit its 9/11 memorial.

The Sable Altura Fire Rescue wrote on Facebook, "Our 9/11 Memorial has been an Ingress portal for a long time. Because of this, it's also now a Pokestop."

"We encourage people to come out and enjoy the bench in the shade, and enjoy our memorial while also dropping a lure on the Pokestop, or multi-hacking the Ingress portal," officials wrote.

The Facebook post includes a sign posted on the memorial that ask visitors to remember that this is a 9/11 memorial and to respect it.

"Please dispose of your trash, and the trash of anyone before you," the sign says.

It also asks people to be quiet after 10 p.m.
