Two men, 17 and 22, killed in Greeley shooting, police say

GREELEY, Colo. — Two men were killed in a shooting in Greeley on Sunday morning, police said.

Police responded shortly before noon Sunday to a shooting in the 1800 block of 11th Avenue, where a caller reported that at least one person had been shot, a police news release said.

Officers found two male victims, and they were taken to a hospital, where they died. The victims were 17 and 22, police said.

Police were still investigating the killings on Monday. They said there was no danger to the public. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Greeley police at 970-350-9600 or Commander Roy Smith at 970-371-3706.
