GLENDALE, Colo. — An employee was stabbed and another was assaulted during a robbery Saturday at a Target store in Glendale, police said.

Officers were dispatched about 2:30 p.m. to the store in the 4300 block of East Virginia Avenue, off Colorado Boulevard, where they found the injured employees.

The employees were helping customers in the electronics section of the store and had removed an iPad from a security case. When they removed the iPad, three suspects grabbed several other iPads and ran away, police said.

The employees tried to stop the suspects, who then assaulted and stabbed the employees. All three suspects were in their late teens or early 20s, police said.

The employee who was stabbed was taken to Denver Health with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects were still at large on Sunday.
