Six indicted on more than 40 charges related to theft, forgery, tax evasion, more

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. — Six people have been indicted on 41 charges, most of which included theft, forgery or criminal tax-related activity. 

On July 25, the Larimer County Grand Jury completed a nine-month investigation and returned with a 41-count indictment for six people: Benjamin Eugene Davenport, Stephanie Ann Johnson, Jason Alan Lewis, Jeremy Logan Pond, Christopher Aaron Reppert and Kirk Adam Smith. 

The criminal offenses included violations of the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act, theft, conspiracy to commit theft, money laundering, forgery, conspiracy to commit forgery, tax evasion, filing a false tax return and failure to file or pay a tax. 

The indictment came after a joint investigation between members of the grand jury, the Larimer County Sheriff's Office, the Colorado Department of Revenue and the Larimer and Jackson Counties District Attorney's Office.
