FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Police are investigating a shooting after a woman was found dead and a man was found injured inside a Fort Collins home early Monday morning.
Officers responded to a home near the intersection of Lynn Drive and Vivian St. at around 7:02 a.m. on a report of a shooting.
There, officers found a deceased woman and man who was injured. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.
While no other information was released, police said there was no ongoing threat to the public in connection with the shooting.
The Larimer County Coroner’s Office will release the cause and manner of death, as well as the woman’s identity, once the woman’s family has been notified.
