AURORA, Colo. — Police in Aurora issued a bulletin Wednesday in connection with a child luring case in which the suspect allegedly tried to get the victim out of school by pretending to be her father. They’re hoping other possible victims may come forward.

Adrian Lyell, 41, was arrested June 7 after a months-long investigation into an online relationship the suspect allegedly initiated with a juvenile victim back in December.

At one point during the investigation, police said Lyell attempted to get the victim out of school by calling Grandview High School, pretending to be her father. The staff realized this was a ruse and did not allow the student to leave the school, the release read.

Lyell is facing a charge of sexual exploitation and enticement of a child. He remains in custody at the Arapahoe County Detention Facility with bond.

Authorities are asking anyone who may have been a victim to call Det. Chad Roberts at 303-739-6164. Tipsters can remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward by calling Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913 STOP (7867).
