GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. — Authorities are looking for a driver that struck and killed a pedestrian on Interstate 70 in Glenwood Springs Thursday night.
Around 6:40 p.m., Glenwood Springs police responded to westbound I-70 near mile marker 116 on a report of a deceased person, according to a release from GSPD.
Police arrived to find a woman’s body in the roadway. She has yet to be identified, but police describe her as a 40-50-year-old white female of small stature with salt and pepper hair. She was wearing jeans and a black canvas material jacket. It’s not clear why the victim was on the interstate.
Police do not have a description of the vehicle that struck the victim. However, they say the suspect vehicle may have front end damage.
